I have been teaching for 5 years in a preschool setting and always loved encorperating nature into my classroom. Growing up in Washington State, with a forest as my backyard, it is my dream to take my teaching skills to the outdoors. This is exciting and fun for me as I get to expose the children to a similar childhood i had, and learned a tremendous amount from.The school i worked at, Garden of Angels, helped me hone my skills, as I was a part of many hiking expeditions for their Friday field trips, and even help host overnight events.

I have been teaching at Garden of Angels school for 5 years. As a teacher there, part of my responsibility was organizing the parents and children for weekly field trips, predominately hikes, so I am happy I am able to share my hobby, and an exciting learning environment on these adventures. I believe in children having a holistic education, and in building their intrinsic motivation. I witness tremendous growth and confidence for the children exposed to their outdoor learning setting and have seen first hand how this helps them in all other aspects of learning or life..
