SERVICES

If you are looking to help get your child's extra energy out for a more relaxing second part of your day, or help them sleep at night, our longer hikes will offer that after a test of stamina. If your child loves art and you would like to expose them to a new medium, one of our NatureTrips curriculum packages is inspired by Andy Goldsworthy and is a satisfying artistic experience, creating temporary installations in remote places. We also offer water play and exploration to take advantage of the beautiful weather, where we will go on waterfall hikes, natural rock water slides, or search through natural tide pools while enjoying the multitudes of ocean life. Another package is for the lovers of adventure and dramatic play, where we will go on a themed survival trip, brainstormed and created alongside the children and at age appropriate levels. This is a great opportunity for children to also have a play date with their closest friends, or meet knew ones their age with a similar interest in exploration. Get together with your friends or simply have a day for yourself and all the while send the kids off on an adventure to remember!

Our stamina hikes are a great introduction to the outdoors. These hikes are an age appropriate journey that pushes the children's endurance in a healthy process and is great for children with extra energy or who have trouble sleeping at night.

On our water play adventures we have a variety of waterfalls, streams and rock pool destinations. Being this close to the beach we also hike to hidden beach strips, visit tide pools and search for ocean life along beach trails.

Our nature art curriculum is inspired by Andy Goldsworthy, who creates temporary installations in nature. We will use a variety of natural resources to create structures, patterns and artistic designs at our hike destination.

This is where hiking becomes a real imaginative adventure. Costumes are not required, but wow do they make a difference in the way that children engage with the nature surrounding them. The guides work alongside the children to create a themed story line, planning objectives and missions along the hike. The children will even find hidden treasures planted by the guides the day before, that fit the theme of their expedition. To see appropriate hiking attire, check out our Costume Guidelines.
